-
In 2007,
HERSHEYPARK® is celebrating its
centennial anniversary . . . that's 100
years of making people happy!
-
As part of its
centennial celebration,
HERSHEYPARK is introducing the
single largest addition in its history,
"The Boardwalk at
HERSHEYPARK."
-
The Boardwalk is a
classic tribute to the legendary
boardwalks of the Northeast and combines
the best of family vacations - a trip to
the seashore and a visit to an amusement
park.
-
The area features
five new water-based attractions as well
as 11 food outlets, six games, and seven
retail outlets, all appropriately themed
to The Boardwalk experience.
-
The centerpiece of
The Boardwalk is called "East Coast
Waterworks." Standing at more than seven
stories high, this is the world's
largest water-play structure. It's
designed from more than 62 tons of steel
and will feature more than 300
interactive water toys.
-
Besides "The
Boardwalk at
HERSHEYPARK," guests who visit
during the centennial celebration can
also enjoy new shows, fireworks displays
and more.
-
In keeping with the
legacy of Milton S. Hershey, this
yearlong celebration of "100 Years of
Happy" is for everyone visiting Hershey
in 2007. The centennial celebration for
HERSHEYPARK will be a
once-in-a-lifetime experience!
-
In fact, we've
added so much more to do in Hershey that
you'll want to extend your stay just so
you can create that many more happy
memories.
