Apple Braid Puff Pastry Recipe From Chef Dan

This gorgeous Apple Braid was super simple to make and is great for the holidays!

  • Unfold a three column piece of puff pastry poke all over with a fork… this is called “docking”
  • Then, take a pastry brush and brush all over with your favorite jam, butter, or spread – for this, I used peach butter
  • In the center column, place thinly sliced apple strips from top to bottom and cut horizontal fringe along both of the side columns, an equal amount on both the left and right sides, alternating all the way down, folding inward, brushing with a well beaten egg
