Connect with Nature

Ask for a bird book and binoculars, then head to the patio or take a long lazy walk off to the farm pond. Be very quiet and still (how lovely). You'll be surprised at the variety of birds and some of the other creatures you'll see in just an hour.

When was the last time you caught a firefly? Our pastures twinkle with them all summer long. We'll even lend you a jar. Another special summer treat is the night-blooming primroses. Watch them unfold before your eyes.
