This unique recipe is another original from our wonderful Chef Dan! Delight your family and friends this winter with a tasty bacon-lover’s dream.
Ingredients
- 1 large onion cubed
- 1/2 pound bacon sliced and crisped (oil and fat discarded)
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of thick or extremely reduced balsamic vinegar
Directions
- Add all ingredients (except balsamic vinegar) to saucepan and cook on high until onions are translucent
- When removed from the heat add
- Add balsamic vinegar
- Stir all together and serve over toast or however you would like
